This is the homepage of the Matlab PhD (Pretty helpful Development function for) face recognition toolbox. The toolbox contains Matlab implementations of some popular face recognition techniques such as PCa, LDA, KPCA, KFA, methods for Gabor filtering and several demo scripts demonstrating the construction of complete face recognition systems. The current version of the toolbox is PhD toolbox v.1.0. The toolbox is now (16.2.2012) available for download.
About the toolbox
The PhD face recognition toolbox is a collection of
Matlab functions and scripts intended to help researchers working in
the filed of face recognition. The toolbox was produced as a
byproduct of the research work presented here and here. It includes implementations of several state-of-the-art face recognition techniques as well as a number of demo scripts, which can be extremely useful for beginners in the field of face recognition.
